Stand-up

Truth be told, Simon doesn’t really like performing stand-up very much, because he’s not an egomaniacal narcissist (he says on a website he’s made for himself written entirely in the third-person). Despite this, he’s taken two shows to the Edinburgh Free Fringe and has performed at Angel Comedy, Quantum Leopard (see below) and The Poodle Club.

Simon made a short series of videos way back in 2014/2015 with a wonderful man named Alasdair Clarke, who now works for VICE in New York. They were called Weekesy Wanders and featured guest appearances from Lee Kern (Who Is America?) and Sofie Hagen (Made of Human Podcast).

Socials

Simon’s favourite TV programme is Masterchef. Before Gregg Wallace ruined everything, Simon delighted fellow fans by creating the TikTok channel Masterchuff UK to provide hilarious digests of each episode.

Audio

Simon is currently making an audio series inspired by Blue Jam and his own life. At the moment, it’s called The Weekestapes.

Improv

Simon trained with the Free Association and performs there whenever he gets the chance. He was a member of the troupe The Badger Bus and appeared regularly on their improvised lockdown podcast.
